Reviews
Great food and service. Highly recommend!
Can easily say this is the best place to eat downtown Columbus. Food amazing, drinks great, service was outstanding.
Got the duck and rizzito, both came out perfect.
We had a great experience there tonight. Brandon was our server and he did was professional, well informed and attentive to our needs. The wagyu, garlic mashed potatoes and plantains were fantastic! Scallops and grilled vegetables were okay. I was disappointed they didn’t have any brussel sprouts. We will be back!
Came here during weekday for dinner. Seated fast and served by friendly staff.
There was happy hour raw/grilled oyster for $1ea till 6PM, we came in 10min before 6 so we scored some. The oysters are fresh and big.
The food in here pretty different from the normal restaurant menu where you have to order the protein, sides, sauce all separately. The sides ranges from $7-$20.
We ordered red snapper, lobster tail with sides of plantain and crawfish risotto.
Okay for the sides, the plantain is so good its sweet, crispy on the sides. But for $9,the portion was surprisingly small.
The crawfish risotto is really good, it’s creamy, a bit spicy. But rather than risotto,it taste more like Étouffée, i still recommend it!
Okay now onto the protein.
The lobster tail is nicely charred on the outside, the inside tender but on the thicker part was a bit too raw,the color is a bit translucent.
The red snapper, we ordered this is based on the server’s recommendation, please don’t. It’s the worst red snapper I have ever tasted, so dry and lack flavor.
The restaurant overall vibe is great! Especially with the location,it’s a nice restaurant but albeit pricey.
So this was my first time here, and I absolutely have to say this is by far one of the best restaurants in Columbus. the food was immaculate and tasted amazing! The service was tremendous, and Jonathan was so attentive, caring, and funny, and made the experience that much more sensational. I had came during happy hour with some friends and I got to try the lobster fries and also the cheeseburger. the food was so good and I recommend anything on the menu because all of my friends and I loved the food and the way it tasted. I definitely recommend this place and I will be back!
Really like the atmosphere but paid $310 for 4 entrees and 2 appetizers. I don’t mind paying the hefty price tag if the food tastes wonderful. Our experience the food was just average and way over priced. We ordered a Filet Mignon, lobster Mac, and salmon and all of it was not impressive. My filet was not tender and super salty, salmon had no seasoning, and lobster in Mac was tough and slimy with a burnt flavor.
The ambiance of this place is beautiful, appetizers and oysters are great. Service was kind but never refilled any waters. The downside to this place is the new A la cart menu and portion sizing. I paid $55 for for entree alone and it was pretty small, and not really good enough for the price in my opinion. It used to be like $35. The portion was larger and it came with veggies on the plate. It’s called the Chateaubriand and you can see references of it in the other reviews. Because of “inflation” the whole menu went up in price and down in portion size. I’d recommend this place for appetizers or drinks but not dinner unless you like paying over $100 per person for a kids portion and leaving hungry.
4.5 star rating, really.
The food is delicious, the restaurant is beautiful, and the service is usually …
